Nina Simon
BSc (Physio), AQPG Aquatic Physiotherapy, NDT trained, CVI professional development training, HINE and HNNE
I graduated in physiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020 and completed my community service at Escourt Provincial Hospital in KZN in 2021.
I spent four years working in government at both Nokuthula Special School and Felicitas School, special needs schools for children with severe – profound learning disabilities and Cerebral Palsy.
I first fell in love with aquatic physiotherapy during one of my clinical blocks as a student, where we ran classes for members of the Hillbrow Community struggling with chronic pain.
I had my first exposure to paediatric aquatic physiotherapy locuming at a private practice in Olivedale. I later completed my AQPG Aquatic Physiotherapy Foundation Course and Paediatric Course in 2023.
In addition to my Aquatic Physiotherapy Courses, I completed my Foundation Paediatric NDT course in 2023, CVI Professional Development Training and the HINE and HNNE in 2024.
I currently work at multiple private paediatric practices in Gauteng, including Grassroots Paediatric Development Centre with Kerry Churchill.
