I graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1996 with a BSC in Physiotherapy. Following graduation, I worked for a year at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital covering paediatric inpatients and outpatients including both respiratory and rehabilitation cases. During this time, I also worked at Morningside Clinic and Garden City Clinic Paediatric wards and NICU on weekends. In 1998 I moved to the USA where I worked for a school district in Michigan, based at two special needs schools and two mainstream schools, providing both land-based and aquatic physiotherapy services to learners with special needs. In the USA I also had short term contracts at a long term rehabilitation facility and a hospital outpatient facility.

Upon returning to Johannesburg I completed my Neuro Developmental Therapy (NDT) training in 2000 and worked for two and a half years in a private practice in Rivonia, consisting of paediatric outpatient rehabilitation, as well as inpatient respiratory cases in the paediatric ward and NICU at Morningside Clinic. I then started work at the Hope School in Westcliff where I worked for a total of 11 years providing both land-based and aquatic physiotherapy services to learners with a wide variety of conditions, and continued to see respiratory cases at the hospital in the afternoons. In 2013 I received my AQPG Foundation and Paediatric certification in aquatic physiotherapy.

I have been working at Forest Town School for the past two years, providing both land-based and aquatic physiotherapy services to the learners, and in 2023 I re-certified in AQPG Foundation and Paediatric aquatic physiotherapy and then joined Kez Physio practice at Grassroots.
