I graduated as a Speech-Language Therapist from Stellenbosch University in 2016. Since graduating, I have actively pursued further professional development, including courses such as the SOS Approach to Feeding, Makaton Level 1, and Foundations of Neonatal Therapy, to name a few. Additionally, in 2023, I became a certified Lactation Consultant after completing the course through Wits University.
I started working for Kathryn Schie Speech Therapy at Grass Roots Paediatric Development Centre in 2021, and love working within the multidisciplinary team. I provide treatment to children with a variety of feeding and communication difficulties, including motor planning difficulties, articulation and phonological processing, fussy eating, feeding and swallowing difficulties, developmental delays and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also provide assistance to mothers and babies with lactation and breastfeeding.
