Caitlyn Dell

BSc. in Occupational Therapy (UCT, 2014), Certified in Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy (Harlem Sheffield University, UK), Tomatis Level 2 Practitioner, Greenspan Floortime Therapy, Certified in Interactive Metronome Therapy, Certified in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding Approach.

I grew up on a farm in the Karoo in a close-knit community. I pursued my passion for working with children and studied occupational therapy at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2014.

After completing community service in 2015 at a rural hospital in the Eastern Cape, where I worked primarily in maternity and paediatric wards, I embarked on an international journey to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2016, teaching English to young children. These experiences broadened my cultural perspective and deepened my understanding of child development.

In 2017, I returned to South Africa and worked in a busy private paediatric practice in Johannesburg for over three years, treating children with sensory integration difficulties, developmental delays, autism, cerebral palsy, and other learning challenges. During this time, I pursued post-graduate training in various therapy techniques and continue to do so to develop my professional skills.

In 2020, I founded my occupational therapy practice, focusing on providing holistic support to families and children with sensory and neurodevelopmental needs. I am passionate about nurturing environments that foster play, parent-child bonding, and the potential of every child.
